Djerba
Djerba (sometimes also spelled as Jerba) is the largest island in the North African region, approximately 100 kilometers east of Gabes in the south east of Tunisia.

Houmt-Souk is the island’s capital, with a population of over 40,000 while Djerba as a whole has around 120,000 inhabitants.

Djerba is famous for it's traditional crafts, primarily fabrics, pottery and jewelry.

Now a popular destination for international travelers due to it's long beaches, beautiful scenery, abundant accommodation options and a wealth of things to see and do. There is plenty of entertainment for the evenings, and an incredible range restaurants.

Air: There are regular flights from Tunis to Djerba Zarzis airport. There are also chartered flights from a number of European cities to Djerba.

Bus: There are bus services running from Tunis and other cities that will take you to Djerba.

Ferry: The island can also be reached by the car ferry running between Ajim and the Djorf on the mainland.
