Here are some other places well worth visiting.

Sousse
Sousse is around 140 kilometers from Tunis, and is another charming resort, known as “the pearl of the Sahel”. Although it is Tunisia’s third largest city, it is assuredly a most relaxing place to stay and you will not regret your visit. Apart from the beautiful beach-front area, there is plenty to see and do with historic buildings such as the 8th century fortress and a lighthouse that dates back to 859AD. Sousse can be reached by road and rail, and also via the airport at Monastir.

Tabarka
Tarbarka is located on the north coast of  Tunisia close to the border with Algeria, about 170 kilometers from Tunis. A beautiful relaxed, coastal town with a rich history, Tabarka is known for it’s coral and for fishing, and the newly built Montazah-Tabarka resort has increased it’s share of visitors. There is plenty to do what with snorkeling, scuba diving, sailing and of course fishing, and there is even an 18 hole golf course. Tabarka can be reached by road or by flights to Tabarka International Airport.
